Tranquility Bay Beach Resort - Amergris Caye, Belize

I was blown away by the beauty and location of this resort. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The staff was equally as wonderful.

You can walk along the beach and the only sounds you hear are the waves from the ocean, birds, and the occasional thump of a coconut falling from the tree. There were no loud resorts, no buzzing ski jets, no cruise-shippers.

Imagine a narrow, palm fringed island that stretches across the turquoise Caribbean like a string of pearls. Off-shore a wisp of foam marks the crest of golden reefs that run seemingly to infinity.

On Ambergris Caye, one can paddle off any dock and find aquarium-like conditions: warm, clear water teaming with everything from spectacular parrot fish to somber turtles. Schools of yellowtail snapper may cruise by, along with spotted eagle rays.
