Tranquility Bay Beach Resort - Ambergris Caye, Belize

I was extremely impressed with the food which I enjoyed much more than one of the fanciest resorts in town. They even let us try the food they fixed for the staff which I told them should have gone on the menu it was so good.

The restaurant here has an array of dishes that were very good for all meals, and we did not even get to try everything there in a week's stay.

The highlight of our culinary experience at Tranquility Bay was a beach barbecue. The staff set our table on the sand beside a bonfire, and dished up a Tranquility Bay Grand Slam of conch ceviche, fish, chicken and lobster tails--delicious.

I enjoyed all the food at the Tackle Box. The menu is heavy on seafood but also has American favorites such as cheeseburgers & fries as well as pork chops. Try the hummus and shrimp ceviche! Delicious.

The food in the restaurant was delicious, so good in fact that I had to force myself to try something other then my favorites at every meal.

I thought that we would want to go out a night or two for dinner to change it up, but the food was so amazing, that we couldn't even think of leaving!
